In my work I try to combine theoretical interests with experimental studio practice, vague ideas meet solid matter. Subjects that interest me, I follow in an associative and intuitive rather than systematic way. The resulting artworks therefore tend to contain an eclectic aspect, avisual impurity and differ strongly according to the level of abstraction and the use of technique, material and media.

Visual codes and objects related to style, taste, class, domestic and family life are all parts of my references. My aim is to see these codes as parts of bigger structures; structures which limit the individual's freedom, social mobility and access to power.
